December 07, 2009, 11:06 AM This afternoon at the RPV Advance... in front of 700 attendees.... I was proud to accept on your behalf the award for Best Unit in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The award was presented to Fairfax County by Chairman Pat Mullins along with Governor-elect Bob McDonnell, Lt Governor Bill Bolling, and Attorney General-elect Ken Cuccunelli. This is YOUR award. You earned it...you deserve it...and the results speak for themselves. Well done team! In addition, two of our own also received awards today at the Advance. Matt Ames (Chairman-Providence District) and Anna Lee (Dranesville District) were awarded Volunteers of the Year for the 10th and 11th Congressional Districts. Well done Matt and Anna!
