Elected Republican Woman Making History in Fairfax


Barbara Comstock
Barbara has won reelection to the House of Delegates 34th District (Great Falls, McLean, and parts of Herndon and Vienna) in 2011 after first winning the seat in 2009. Barbara has a law degree and many years of experience working on the Hill and in the Department of Justice, and in private sector government relations. Patty Reed, Fairfax County School Board
Patty won reelection to the Fairfax County School Boardin 2011 for the Providence District,
which includes parts of Oakton, Vienna, Fairfax, Tysons, and Falls Church. Before winning the
seat in the 2009 special election, Patty exercised leadership in the community as President
of the Friends of Oakton Library, an advocate for the successful FAIRGRADE movement, and
founder of a nonprofit foundation that mentors women about education and leadership. Patty
has a Master of Public Administration degree. Her son is a Senior at Oakton HS and her daughter

 Elizabeth Schultz, School Board Member
 Elizabeth L. Schultz is a member for Fairfax County School Board, Springfield District. She founded the Republican Women of        Clifton, is on the Fairfax Education Coalition Executive Board and is actively working with legislators on fiscal, educational and  transparency issues. Elizabeth served previously in the federal, nonprofit and private sectors as a Senior Manager of Contracts and  Negotiation. She and her husband have four sons, three of whom are currently in FCPS, and she serves on the SYA Lacrosse  Executive Board.
